Our Artistic Team works out of their own personal kits. We don’t use or promote a single product line because we don’t believe that there is just one line that has it all.
Last month we took you into Stephanies hair and makeup kit so you could see what products she can’t live (or work) without. This month, we want to show you a few of Cynthia’s favorite things.
MAKEUP:
I can’t prep a face prior to any makeup application without AVEDA’s Exfoliant. Its really great because it is a liquid so I don’t have to have my client wash anything off. One swipe of that stuff and the face is ready to go.
I can’t live without Embryolisse Lait Creme as well as their Anti Aging Cream. Depending on the face I am working on, both do the job just right.
Currently I am obsessing over Eve Pearls salmon concealer. I picked this bad boy up at the makeup show in NYC and I don’t know how I ever functioned without it.
HD powder by Makeup Forever is a must have for me. It works stupendously with their HD foundations which I also like very much. I use the Matte Finish foundations as well as the HD Primers in Green and Yellow. Can’t live without those, specially for my male clientele.
The other new product I LOVE is fling and Lingering retractable pencils from MAC that were suggested to me by Ester Aiden in NYC. Perfect for filling in the brows.
Like Stephanie, I love Revlon’s Mineral Lip Glaze color 500. It’s my FAVORITE. My go to nude.
And lastly, I cannot go without Graftobians HD Pro Powder Foundation Pallette in Neutral. It’s one of the best I have come accross.
HAIR:
Elixer Ultime from Kerastase is great for so many reasons. But when I am working on location, I love this serum to finish off the hair and give it believeable shine.
Sublimateur Jour by Kerastase is a must have for me. It is the product I use to prep the hair prior to styling wether wet or dry. I use this to lay down the cuticle of the hair, give it slip and add moisture.
Osis Hairspray by Schwartzkoff is my favorite hairspray. I carry the light weight and the strong hold.
Dust it by Schwartzkoff is my ultimate product. It is hands down the best product to give texture to the hair. It helps me get the hair in to any shape or position I want.
For my male clients I style on location, I love the Thrill Fibre Gum and the Matt Gum. It’s what I pack everytime.
Onesta Liquid Setting Mist is what I use prior to using hot tools on the hair. It works better than any heat activated product and best of all, its all natural.
