Medium Length Boys Haircuts

This medium length style reminds me of all the boys in eighties and nineties movies. Think about the Goonies or even Gremlins and every child star seemed to be rocking one of these hairstyles.  It doesn’t take much to have get this style all you have to do is grow it out a bit and your in action. Then maybe you could go to Hollywood and audition for the remake of the Goonies movie. With this haircut you are a shoe in.

Blonde Medium Length Boys Haircuts

This young chap is rocking the blonde mid length hair. It was made famous by Macauley Culkin back in the day via the film. Home Alone. I think the Coreys (Corey Haim and Corey Feldman) were partially responsible too.

Where are they now?

Where are the Corey’s today? Well last I heard Corey Feldman was performing Michael Jackson dances in public with some of his angels. He also had a T.V show called Coreys Angels where he would invite celebrities over to his house for a party. Needless to say that show didn’t take off. I have no idea about the other Corey though. If you know what happened to Corey Haim hit us up in the comments box below.

Crew Cut with Fade Boys Haircuts

This whipper snapper is ready for the big league with his fine crew cut with fade. It’s a very low fade which is a respectable look. Then he has the punk rock spike thing going on up top. I don’t know whether this kid is a Damien child son of Lucifer or the angel his mother always makes him out to be.

That’s the beauty of this style of haircut. This kid is ready for his first gig or ready for his first day of private school where he will receive straight A’s and go onto Harvard then create the next big thing since Facebook.

What do you think will be the next social media craze? It’s hard to keep up these days.

The Pompadour Boys Haircuts

The pompadour has been around for aeons. Ever since the bootleg days. It has become a popular hairstyle for celebrities over the world. The hairstyle is so common that almost every movie ever made has a character with a pompadour.

Maybe it’s time that you gave your little cherub a pompadour so they can fit in with the gang. The pompadour is a flattering hairstyle for those who want to look ready for business or a play date to McDonald’s. If you get your child a pompadour they will be the most popular kid in the playground. They will be invited to all the cool kids birthday parties, Summer holiday’s and bahmitzfas. Does all this sound too good to be true?

Well, if your child is a bully or has an attitude problem and a pompadour it doesn’t guarantee them any friends. You should teach your child to be a good, kind human being.

Children should be taught how to be kind and decent human beings before they are taught maths or science. Perhaps they should incorporate a social skills module into school curriculum. Let us know in the comments box below.

Curly Hair Boys Haircut?

Does you child have curly hair? Well you are in luck because we have some serious inspiration for you and your child. Curly hair should be considered a blessing not a curse. People with straight hair wish they had curly hair and people with curly hair wish they had straight hair.  The grass is always greener on the other side as they say. Well curly hair rocks as you can see from the images of these young grass hoppers who are rocking the curly locks. It looks cute and can styled in a variety of ways depending on the occasion.

Hot Tip for Boys Haircuts

If your child’s curly hair is getting out of control and you have an important formal event to attend. Get some hair product and lather the kids hair in it. This will give extra control. Try slicking it back for a sleek yet formal look. If curls keep popping up try brushing to one side. Curly hair has a tendency to favor one side and it’s more likely to stay down. It’s just a matter of finding the right side.

Fade with Comb Over Boys Haircuts

No this kid isn’t going bald and doing a comb over. He’s simply combing the hair to one side. This is an eighties look made famous by the Cure and a bunch of other new wave acts. It’s all about leaving the fringe a little bit longer and the brushing it to the side.

This little ginger nut looks like he enjoys the style. This style is a bit edgy but still refined enough for a private school. He kind of looks like Hanzel from Hanzel and Gretal.

Spiky Boys Haircut

Every young lad likes a spiky haircut. Perhaps it reminds them of the dinosaur stegosaurus. For me it was the bad mogwai in the Gremlins movie. You know that one who had the white stripe down head. He had kind of like a mohawk thing going on and he was the leader of the bad guys.
Yep he was always causing trouble for Gizmo and Billy. But of course, like all the movies the good guys prevail in the end. Well when I was younger I wanted a haircut like the bad mogwai. I got one then ever since then I have been in trouble at school, then university, then with the law as an adult. If you want child to turn into a bad seed give them Stripes haircut. Do you want then to join the army give them a crew cut. Or you want them to be a rock and roller let it grow.

None of the previous statements have been proven in a scientific study nor is there any anecdotal evidence apart from mine. So take most of these comments with a grain of salt. They are meant to be amusing. Hopefully you will get a giggle out them.

70’s Throwback Boys Haircuts

Woah this lad looks like he caught a time machine from the past. He has the mad 70’s hairstyle with the straight fringe and the big ear muffs going on. This hairstyle was very popular throughout the seventies. All the pop stars had them.

Maybe it’s time to bring it back. Get the young ones active and mobile in the world of fashion. If every parent gets involved they could change the fashion industry forever. Rather than letting a few people dictate what is cool we can dictate the coolness through sheer numbers.

Every kid in school throughout the world will be sporting the 70’s ear muff look and the fashion world will have to recognize the power of the people.

Cowlick Boys Haircuts

It took me a long to time to know the meaning of cowlick. People were always commenting on my hair saying you have a cowlick. I though they were teasing me so I denied it all the time. A cowlick is where the front of the hair curls to one side. It kind of looks like a cow has come and licked your fringe and the mucous from the mouth has acted as gel and stuck it into one point.

Sometimes a cowlick will occur in naturally in children. Don’t ask me why I’m not a scientist although I did have a naturally occurring cowlick when I was a kid. If you kid doesn’t have one and you think they would look cute with one you could always use gel or other hair products. As you can see above this hairstyle is ideal for family glamour shots that you give you your relatives.

Behold the look of disappointment in their eyes as they unwrap a picture of you and your family at Christmas time. Dead set that would have to be the worst Christmas present ever. But some people have no common sense and they still do it.

Teen Boys Haircuts

Is your child in or about to hit the dreaded teen years? Well they will probably start caring about their appearance a lot more than when they were younger. You won’t be able to pull off the DIY haircut anymore without having to listen to excessive whinging.

Yep the little dune bug is growing up fast and now they need to be cool or all the other kids will make fun of them. This is something to consider when getting their haircut. The best thing to do is let them pick their own damn haircut and if it sucks it’s all on them. You won’t have to put up with them telling you that you are ruining their life one bad haircut at a time.

To which you can respond that life is just one bad haircut after the other. It’s not the haircut but how you deal with the bad haircut. If you know what I’m saying. Of course you could find a good barber that will do a good job.

Mini Fro Boys Haircuts

The mini afro for a mini person is one cool hairstyle. I always wanted an afro when I was a kid but I could never get one because my hair is so fine and straight. No matter how much hair product I put in there or how much of perm I got it wouldn’t stand up like the other kids at school.

If you or your child are blessed with such beautiful thick locks you might like to try the afro look out. It’s big, bold and badass. The higher the hair the closer to heaven you are according to the legend. Maybe some throwback disco reject said that the day disco music died. Anyway it’s a nice thought.

High Fade Boys Haircuts

This young entrepreneur is rocking the high fade with the slicked back ready for action hairstyle. This little dude is a tycoon in the making. He could even be Donald Trump Jnr Jnr. This pint sized sasquatch will be offending people on twitter, accusing the media of fake news and building a wall around a country near you.

All jokes aside though, the haircut actually looks good on this little whippersnapper and makes him seem much older than he actually is. He could even get into a night club with a fake idea. Imagine this little kid running rampant through a night club all hopped up on red cool aid and grinding on women three times his aid. He better settle down or he’ll get thrown out by the bouncers.

Faux Hawk Boys Hairstyle

Oh I remember the days of getting ready for school and making my hairstyle into a mohawk. Then only to be told to brush it out by my mother before school started. Well thankfully times have changed a great deal and a mohawk is an acceptable hairstyle.
Kids today are more free than they have ever been as people become more tolerant to individual styling.

I thinks it’s due to the internet. Yep, the internet has opened the people up to the world and they have seen and heard more than they ever have before. The amount of information and data on internet is phenomenal. Imagine all the pictures that everyone world takes on a daily basis and uploads them onto the internet. It must be in the billions. When you think about it, the change the internet has brought on in the last 20 years has been amazing.

It has changed the way we listen to music, watch films, where we get our news from. With all this change and all this information there is a down side. It’s hard to know where to get real information.

Trendy Hairstyles Boys Haircuts

Kids are basically little people. Just because they haven’t developed vanity and a sense of fashion does not mean you can make them look like total dweebs. This kid above is a cut above his classmates with his super styling haircut. He reminds of a kid I went to primary school with named Simon.

Simon used to always rock up to school with lightning bolt tracks and colored foils in his hair. His mother was a jockey and a good one at that. He always had the coolest hair and the coolest shoes. We became friends through our love of video games and sneakers. Hair has the ability to bring people closer together and form life long bonds. Thirty years later I am sitting on Simon’s balcony typing this article on hair. Yep we stayed friends all this time.

Long Boys Haircuts

Hand this kid a guitar because he looks ready to rock and roll. The long hair, care look is a great one for your child. The best part about it is the lack of maintenance required for upkeep. All you have to do is let if grow farmer Joe and you have yourself a mini rockstar running around.

All you have to do then is get him a guitar and maybe a few singing lessons and you are on your way. Then convince his friends mothers to buy their kids a drum kit and bass guitar. You have yourself a band. Who’s garage are they going to practice in? Well if you are a cool parent probably yours but if the noise is too much try convince them to practice at the drummers house.

After a few years of practice enter them into the battle of the bands and if they don’t win get them back in the rehearsal studio for more practice. A lot of great bands didn’t win the battle of the bands and still made it to the big time.

Short Boys Haircuts

I feel your pain mate. This kid has a terrible haircut and he knows it. You tell by the expression on his face. What were his parents thinking by giving him such a terrible haircut. I would be pulling a face or two if that was done to me then I would get out the clippers and shave it all off before my friends got to see it.

He would never hear the end of it at school. The poor kid would be getting picked on all day and night. That’s something to consider when you are cutting your kids hair. They have to live with the hairstyle and kids can be so cruel.

Be kind to your child and give them a good haircut or better yet let someone else do it.

Popular Boys Haircuts

This seems to be one of the most popular styles for boys these days. It’s the classic fade with a bit of part going on. This hairstyle is popular for big boys as well. It also incorporates a fade that gradually tapers up to the long part.

If you walked into a barber shop and said give me a haircut and gave no particular instruction this is the hairstyle you would get. It’s a standard issue crew cut that will work in any situation. It also takes the guess work out of getting a new hairstyle. If you get this haircut you can get it for the rest of your life and it will still be in fashion. The crew cut never dies.

Cool Haircuts for Boys

There are a myriad of cool haircuts for boys as you have seen in this particular list. The best thing to do is ask your local barber. They are the professionals and have a wealth of experience of what will look best for your child. The shape of your head and the attributes of your hair can be the difference in a good haircut and an amazing one.

What might look good on a long faced person will not necessarily look good on a round faced person and vice versa. Then you have hair thickness. A white kid with straight thin hair won’t get the same style as a kid with thick curly hair. It just wouldn’t work now would it.

Different strokes for different folks.

Tracks Boys Haircuts

When I was growing up, every kid wanted tracks after they saw that Simon had them. I wanted tracks and so did all my friends. Why not be a cool parent and get your kid some tracks. They will be the coolest in the playground.

You don’t have to get the stock standard tracks that you see in the above image. My friends Simon had lightning bolts when we were growing up. The sky is the limit and if your barber is up to the task why not challenge him something unique like a rainbow or chains. You could even get the batman emblem shaved into the back of your head.

It’s all about being creative and finding the a good hairdresser or barber for the task.

Prickle Cut Boys Haircuts

There are so many different styles of boys haircuts but the prickle cut has never gone out of fashion for kids. It has been a staple on the playground since I don’t know when. It’s one of those boys haircuts that really has stuck around and makes our little cherubs even cuter.

This boys haircut isn’t every flattering so it’s best to give your kid one before they become fashion conscious. But don’t worry kids love this style and he won’t get teased at school. Instead he will be worshiped by his peers. He will be the king kong of the monkey bars. The prince of the playground and the duke of dodge ball.

The Ron Weasley Boys Haircut

Well this is a blast from the past. Ron Weasley is well grown up now. As you can see he has the classic part thing going from his days at Hogwarts Academy. I don’t know if this haircut stands the test of time. It looks kind of goofy. You know what? It reminds of the haircuts from Beverly Hills 90210. That bad TV show from back in the day that made all those kids famous.
Luke Perry one of the character died today. He was a pretty good actor and teenage heart throb. So let’s take a moment to remember Luke and all of his good deeds he completed while he was on earth.

Temp Fade Boys Haircut

This temp fade sure is popping. This kid has paired it up with a low fade and pompadour. He is the first triple threat we have scene on the list and he shall be crowed king of the kids. This man is the first picked for every team sport. Gets to dance with all the nice ladies and he has first pick of the swap lunch fiasco.

A good haircut can change your life and this young man is living proof. He used to get picked and never made the football team. Now he is the leader of the pack with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Before you know it he will be auditioning for Steven Spielberg’s next movie sensation and he will join child star royalty with the like of Corey Feldman and Corey Haim.

Great Scott. It’s Batman or is it Superman? Boys Haircut

Is it a bird? Or a plane? Who is it? Batman. No. Superman. Both?

This kid couldn’t decide who he liked better batman or superman. His dad was like well get both and did  him up a nice little design that merges both great super heroes together. If you could merge any two super heroes who would it be? I would merge Wolverine and Gambit. That would be the ultimate super hero.

First you would have wolverine with his strength, healing power, agility and courage. Then you would have gambit with his explosive powers and cunning Cajun wit and charm. This merger would be unstoppable. Wolverine could kinetically charge his whole body then launch himself at foe. They would both blow up but then the healing power would kick in. It’s genius I tell you.

Another great combination would be Superman and the magneto. If they did merge would they be evil or good. Which side would they be on?

Straight Fringe Low Fade Boys Haircuts

This is a bit different to most of the boys haircuts we have seen on the list. It’s a straight fringe with a low fade. Have you ever heard of Norm core? I hadn’t until my friends told me about it but this seems like a norm core hairstyle. It’s where you try look geeky and normal on purpose for the sake of fashion. They also wear very unstylish clothing. It’s part of the style or lack there of it.

This haircut is ideal for the active child. It keeps there hair out of their eyes when they rowing or taking part in a game of football. This kid looks as happy as Larry with his norm core style and so could your child.

Cheeky Boys Haircuts

This kid is a bit cheeky poking out his tongue at the camera man like that. If your bored with your child’s hair don’t be afraid to put some color through it. Try and go for the colors made from natural ingredients as they won’t damage the hair as much as colors with chemicals.

So have fun with it. Try using all the colors of the rainbow and see how it turns. By the way we take no responsibility if your child hates their new colored hair.

Is your kid ready to jump in the barbers chair and get one of these boys haircuts. This was a great list and we hope you have found some inspiration. Whether your a parent who loves attempting to cut your child’s hair or you are just shopping around for ideas for haircuts.

We have covered all styles from the good, the bad and the ugly. Remember to get creative when you cut your child’s hair. If you pull it off you will be the king of the castle and if you don’t it doesn’t matter because they are just children. JKS
